It is always an issue trying to get appointments at this surgery. The appointments are always running late. The receptionists are very matter of fact- no empathy or regard to a customers/patient situation. The surgery does not cater for people working unsocial hours and shift workers OR try to help in trying to get a suitable appointment There seems to a class bias in this surgery as it is in an affluent area and the GP's push people to buy over the counter treatment.

The care I have received from the medical staff has been very good, however, the administration/reception side of the surgery is greatly lacking. There appears to be no system for storing prescriptions which has meant several visits to get the correct prescription. Information relayed over the telephone doesn't always get recorded or acted upon. There doesn't appear to be any system in place for communication between the medical staff and reception staff so much so that a critical piece of documentation took an excessive amount of time to find, claims were made that it wasn't ready, but it was the lack of a filing system that meant it couldn't be found. I am very happy with the care so far at the surgery but I am seriously considering moving due to the difficulties associated with dealing with the administration aspects.

There was an issue quite recently when i submitted a repeat prescription for mst pain killers. However when i went to collect from the chemist next door it had not gone through. Upon investigation it appears that when my request was entered onto the system it did not get printed off and was then lost into the system on the computer. May I suggest that when items are entered onto the system that you keep a hold of the form left by the patient until the repeat has been printed off for signature, this way the problem should happen again or to any one else. Thank you.

The e-system to register attendance is good as it saves receptionist time, and I appreciate being met in reception by the person I was booked in to see. All of the staff are approachable and respectful. Everyone conducts themselves very professionally. I appreciate the time taken to understand what my needs are and then for sorting it out there and then. Though my appointment was to discuss a minor ailment I wasn't made to feel like I was wasting valuable consultation time. This made me feel easier about having made the appointment in the first place. - No improvement suggestions. My experience was excellent.

It is the best doctors surgery I have ever been with. The docs are all so friendly and kind. I came for my flu and chatted to other patients there and it was really nice. The nurse who did my flu was gentle and caring. Like family.
